Taka Elkins – Managing Partner

Taka Elkins brings over 27 years of sales leadership and marketing expertise within the industries: medical software, pharmaceuticals, non-sterile compounds, complex lab services, biologics, and business consultations.  His experience includes territorial/market preparations, product launches, brand development, team building, training programs, sales operations, marketing strategies and tactical execution. 

Mr. Elkins began his career in consultative sales with the Standard Register Company, and was then recruited by Merck & Co. as a pharmaceutical representative.  He quickly climbed the ranks, which included winning the VP sales sales award 3 years in a row.  This led to a promotion to the National Sales Business Group, a small elite team of sales leaders that implemented nationwide sales strategies and spearheaded large-scale launches of medications. This successes led him to a position as Vice President of Sales for TractManager Inc., a contract management software company that serves healthcare organizations.  There he led the national sales team that targeted the C Suite level for medical device and pharmaceutical companies.  Mr. Elkins utilized his gained expertise of market preparation, building brands, implementing innovation, and selling to multiple call points, when he was recruited by Amgen to launch a new, first in class injectable.

Mr. Elkins received his Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing and Business Administration from Auburn University.  He currently resides in Signal Mountain, TN with his lovely wife Lissa and 5 children – Kaya, Dani, Alina, Noa and Leo.


Joe Catroppa – Managing Partner

Joe brings over 24 years of sales leadership and marketing expertise within medical device, DME, pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, toxicology lab services, sterile & non sterile compounding. Specific areas of experience include sales, marketing, training & development, new product strategy development & launch, talent acquisition, strategic planning with implementation and execution.

After graduating with a BS in health science & athletic training, Joe went on to obtain his master’s in education. After a brief stint working as a certified athletic trainer at the high school & collegiate level, he moved into the medical sales arena. Starting as a 1099 representative selling durable medical and medical devices for a small independent distributor. This supplied the experience to win a job with Merck & Co in 2005. After 4 award-winning years with Merck, he earned a position with Amgen in 2009 to launch a novel biologic medication into a naïve market. Finishing #1 in the Northeast for the new product launch led to a promotion into a national field-training role, followed by a district manager position within 14 months.

In 2013 Joe decided to join Bellevue pharmacy and helped build Bellevue into the largest topical compounding pharmacy in the US. By the end of his first year, Joe was the #1 rep in the country and held that title until he was promoted into a Regional Sales Manager position with their sister company Fagron Sterile in 2015. Joe joined Titan Medical as an Executive Sales Director in the Northeast before becoming a Managing Partner. He continues to sell on a daily basis and maintains one of the largest revenue generating territories at Titan Medical.
